Are you climbing the stairway to Heaven?

I read an interesting saying the other day; "The elevator to success is out of order. You're going to have to take the stairs - one step at a time!"

While that is a catchy saying, and holds a lot of truth for those that are seeking to overcome obstacles in life, we must be careful not to think that there is some stairway to heaven that we have to climb. I am going to make some bold statements here. THERE IS NO STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN. THERE IS NO PATH THROUGH THE JUNGLE THAT LEADS TO PARADISE. YOU ARE EITHER THERE, OR YOU AREN'T.

The Word of God says that whoever calls on the name of the LORD will be delivered (Romans 10:13). It goes on to say that when God delivers us He transports us from the kingdom of darkness to the kingdom of His Son. HE BEAMS US UP!

He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us (i.e., transported us) into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins. (Col 1:13-14)

In Christ, we are there! In Christ we have full and immediate access into the throne room of God! In Christ we are forgiven and free!

Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh, and having a High Priest over the house of God, let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith (Heb 10:19-22)

Full assurance of faith. Lord bless us with the full assurance of faith that lifts us FROM the quagmire of despondency, hopelessness, fear, and doubt. Lord bless us with the full assurance of faith that lifts us TO the forgiveness, freedom, fearlessness, patience, perseverance, and promises that are ours IN CHRIST.

Praise God!! He has beamed us up, and nothing can now separate us from the love of God.
